Moving Wooden Toys: Children's Toys

Kids in ancient Egypt didn't have iPads or video games, but they had awesome toys they made themselves! Dads would carve wooden animal toys for their kids, like wooden crocodiles that could open and snap their mouths shut using a little string, and tiny wooden horses on wheels that kids pulled along the ground. Girls also had cute dolls made of cloth and wood, complete with real hair made from linen threads! They spent wonderful times playing and running around in the green gardens right next to the Nile.
