The Swift Sky Hero: The Falcon Horus

If you look high up in the sky and spot a bird flying as fast as lightning, watching the ground below with sharp eyes that miss absolutely nothing, that is the falcon! The ancient Egyptians admired this beautiful bird's bravery and strength so much that they made it the symbol of the god Horus, the great hero of the sky. The Pharaoh kings loved Horus so much that a king would place a small golden falcon statue behind his head to protect him. The perfectly drawn "Eye of Horus," which looked like a math puzzle, became the most famous lucky charm in all of Egypt. They wore it on necklaces because they believed it was a magic eye that guarded them and scared away any danger that came near!
