They fed them the yummiest chunks of fresh Nile fish and let them sleep on the softest, coziest pillows in the very best spot in the house. The wildest part is that wealthy people actually pierced their cats' ears to dress them up in pure gold earrings! They also dressed them in magical necklaces for protection because they considered their cat to be a real, super important family member they just couldn't live without.
