Loyal Hunting Dogs: Friends of Heroes

Dogs have been some of the Pharaohs' best friends for thousands of years! They raised all kinds of dogs, but the most famous was a super-fast, slender breed with long ears that looked like a Greyhound. They would take their dogs on desert hunting trips to help them chase down incredibly fast animals. Because they loved their dogs so deeply, they gave them beautiful names like 'Brave,' 'Shining Star,' or 'Swift Arrow.' And when a beloved dog passed away, its owner would be so sad that they would actually make it into a mummy so they could stay together in the next world!
