The Army of Heroes and War Chariots

Bows and Flying Arrows: Archery

Pharaonic kings and soldiers were super-heroes at the sport of archery! They used very long, flexible bows made of special wood to shoot arrows over huge distances with amazing accuracy. They decorated the ends of the arrows with colorful bird feathers to help them fly through the air swiftly and steadily right toward the colorful target. The king would stand as steady as a mountain, pull the bowstring with all his might, and focus his falcon-like eyes to hit his target directly in the center!
