The Magical Musical Rattle: The Sistrum
Do you love the happy sound of bells and rattles? The Pharaohs invented a wondrous instrument called the Sistrum that looks just like a magical musical rattle! It was made of shiny brass shaped like a horseshoe, with metal wires inside holding tiny beads. When the musician shook it, it made a beautiful, ringing sound like leaves rustling in the breeze. They loved using it in big celebrations because they believed this sweet sound chased away sad spirits and brought joy and happiness to the place!
