Dangerous and Amazing Jobs

Gold Seekers in the Dry Desert

Where did all the gold for Tutankhamun's mask come from? It came from incredibly brave workers called miners! They traveled for many long days into the super hot and scary Eastern Desert, where there was no water or plants. They dug deep, dark tunnels inside the tough rocky mountains, using simple tools and the dim light of oil lamps, just to find shiny veins of gold hidden inside the stones! They endured thirst and heat to create glory that would shine for thousands of years.
