The First Paper in History: Papyrus

Before the Pharaohs, people used to write on heavy stones or clay tablets that broke easily. But the ancient Egyptians were so smart that they invented the very first light and flexible paper in history! They gathered a tall, green plant called Papyrus that grows all along the banks of the Nile. They cut its stems into thin strips, layered them on top of each other, hammered them with a wooden mallet, and left them in the sun to dry into strong, beautiful yellow paper. Thanks to this magical invention, they could write their stories and roll them into super-long scrolls to keep them safe for thousands of years!

If you had an endless scroll of Papyrus, what long story or adventure would you write and draw on it?
