The Mountain, Guardian of Secret Treasures: Valley of the Kings
Far away from the pyramids that everyone could see, the later kings decided to hide their tombs and treasures in a super-secret place so thieves wouldn't steal them. They chose a dry, rocky valley called the Valley of the Kings! It is a place with massive natural mountains, and deep inside their bellies, they carved dozens of carefully hidden tombs. They didn't build pyramids over them; instead, they made their doors small and covered them with sand to look just like ordinary rocks. It was a giant game of hide-and-seek between the kings and the thieves that lasted for thousands of years!
